Alice Beriot - Anthropos Traductions
Member of the ATESS (Association of Translators and Editors in Social Science)
PhD candidate at the LAS (Laboratoire d'anthropologie sociale), EHESS
AI conscientious objector (signatory of the Atécopol manifesto)

Initially trained in anthropology and ethnology, then in professional translation - my occupation since 2009 - I am now a translator/editor and a PhD student in anthropology. These two activities give me the opportunity to establish connections across cultures on a daily basis, and to nurture reflection upon these differences, in order to guarantee the most appropriate translation.
Regardless of the duration and scope of the project, I make a point of taking the time to analyse their needs and understand the ins and outs of their professional needs and/or research area.
My approach is all about listening and sharing, which is essential to fully understanding my clients’ areas of work and their expectations, and to ensure their knowledge and information is communicated in the most appropriate way.
My languages:
-
English > French
-
Spanish > French
